Meet Dr. Jerome
Endodontics is a very complex aspect of dentistry
Endodontics is one of nine specialties defined by the American Dental Association. It requires the skill and understanding of most of those individual specialties. Dr. Jerome was a general dentist for five years before returning to training for endodontics and understands complex interdisciplinary restorative care.
“An understanding of oral health restoration in all aspects is critical to our interaction with patients. We make treatment recommendations based on the most favorable outcomes for our patients”
The importance of listening
Not all oral pain is related to root canal issues. Input from the muscle and occlusion dysfunction can mimic tooth pain.
“In many cases, a diagnosis can be narrowed by carefully listening to the patient’s pain history. Patients feel cared for when we take the time to listen to their experiences and concerns”
Professional interaction
Many patients come to our office only once, to address a specific problem, before returning to their general dentist.
“We have to be the best that we can be every day for patients entering an unfamiliar environment. It’s very important for our treatment team to give specific attention to patients with issue of anxiety about their treatment.
